FRONT COUNTER & EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

The Apollo Tattoo Studio is a luxury body‑art destination—elite tattooists, master piercers, and a curated selection of fine body jewelry housed in the heart of Santa Monica. We need a front‑of‑house pro whose hospitality chops match their operational savvy. This dual‑role blends customer‑facing jewelry sales with executive assistant responsibilities that keep our fast‑growing studio organized and on pace for global expansion.

Core ResponsibilitiesFront Counter / Client Care (≈ 60 %)

  • Greet every guest with warm, informed enthusiasm; manage check‑ins and studio tours.
  • Guide clients through high‑value jewelry selections, upsell aftercare, and close POS transactions with accuracy.
  • Maintain pristine jewelry displays and run daily inventory counts.
  • Answer phones, DMs, and emails; schedule tattoos, piercings, and consultations.
  • Educate clients on procedure prep, healing timelines, and studio policies.

Executive Assistant Duties (≈ 40 %)

  • Manage calendars, book travel, and coordinate meetings for ownership.
  • Errands and personal tasks for ownership
  • Draft and proof internal memos, reports, and vendor communications.
  • Track studio supply orders, vendor invoices, and petty cash.
  • Compile weekly KPIs (revenue, conversion rates, foot traffic) for leadership review.
  • Assist with event logistics—promo models, pop‑ups, and trade shows.

  • A lobby that feels like a luxury gallery and runs like an airline check‑in.
  • Jewelry revenue goals met or exceeded through confident product knowledge and client trust.

Needed Experience & Skills Must‑Have Nice‑to‑Have 2 + yrs in high‑end retail, luxury jewelry, spa, or hospitality front desk Experience in a tattoo/piercing or luxury beauty environment Proven track record hitting sales or upsell targets Familiarity with Shopify, Vend, or other cloud POS Calendar & email management for senior leadership Basic photo/video skills for quick social updates Comfort with needles, ink, and alternative culture Fluent in a second language (Spanish highly valued) Expert phone & written etiquette; lightning‑fast typing

CPR/First‑Aid or Bloodborne Pathogens certification. Candidate
